Miss Allen County

Our Program

The Allen County Queen Scholarship Program is open to young women aged 17-21 that live in Allen County or an adjoining county if they participate in Allen County 4-H, go to school in Allen County or participant in the majority of the extracurricular activities in Allen County.

Contestants compete in a panel interview, prepared speech, on-stage professional wear modeling, on-stage evening gown modeling and on-stage question.

The winner and her court reign over the Allen County Fair in June and then the queen goes on to represent our county at the Indiana State Fair Queen Program each January.

Our program is not a high-competition program and many young women that compete have never participated in a “pageant” before. The program's goal is to teach young women new skills like how to properly interview and have confidence in front of a crowd—while making new friends and having a great time.

Our Sponsors

Thank you to our generous 2024 sponsors. Many of these organizations have been sponsoring our program for over two decades! The asterisk represents a sponsor that also contributes to our Little Miss Allen County Program.

Little Miss Allen County Program

The Little Miss Allen County Program is the main fundraiser for the Miss Allen County Queen Scholarship Fund.

The Little Miss program is open to girls aged 2-12 and participation is NOT limited to Allen County residents.

There will be winners in three age groups. Little Miss Allen County, Junior Miss Allen County, and Pre-Teen Miss Allen County.

The winners of each title will be determined based on the amount of money they collect. Girls may get creative with their collection methods. Ideas might include “selling” candy-grams, coloring-book works-of-art, or hug-grams. Kiss a pig or sell cookies—the ideas are endless. Know that 100% of the money collected goes to our scholarship fund! Because of this program we will award over $4,000 in scholarships in 2024.

Limited to the first 25 participants. All participants get a crown and prizes with the winners being awarded a larger crown, sash, flowers and more.
